YOUNG AT HEARTS TRIP PLANNED
On Wednesday, August 14, the Young at Hearts will have the opportunity to tour the new Bell Museum and see the planetarium show “One Giant Leap”, a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing.
The new Museum opened last summer and the world famous nature dioramas were carefully restored and moved from its former location on the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus. The new planetarium employs space age tools for sending visitors anywhere in the universe. This is a community resource that has been missing in the Twin Cities area since 2002.
The all inclusive cost for the tour, planetarium show and lunch is $38. The bus will leave Downtown at 11:00 and we will return at approximately 5:00. Sign-up at either Welcome Center or the church office by August 5th. Payment is also due by August 5th and there are no refunds after that date.
