"Let all that has breath praise the Lord" Psalm 150:6

Most of my life I've always been drawn to music and that definitely holds true in my walk with Christ.  Singing those hymns in church with my mother standing next to me making me follow her finger as she led me through those Sunday services are some very special memories I have of my childhood. Then hearing the pastor use those words in his sermon has left a lifelong impression on me.

I feel music has been the opportunity for me to give back to my Lord the gifts he has blessed me with. Also building relationships with so many people that I perhaps wouldn't even know today without that musical connection.  

When the stresses of life weigh me down I'll find myself singing a song that brings me some comfort, it could be an old hymn or a worship song from last weeks service. So as long as I have breath, I pray I'll praise his name. 

Each of us have a gift or talent that we should explore and share with others, perhaps someone will be touched or uplifted even if we never realize they've been comforted. 

Prayer: "Lord I pray that each of us can use our gifts to draw ourselves and others closer to you". Amen.
