Scandinavian Food Fest

EVENT: 

You are invited to Bethel's 33rd annual Scandinavian Food Fest! Come for lunch, see demonstrations, and visit the Bake Shop and Gift Shop! Food Fest is scheduled for Saturday, October 19 from 10am-3pm at Bethel Highlands Campus (504 Frontage Road, Hudson, WI 54016). We will have all your favorite Scandinavian specialties featuring Lefse, Sandbakkels, Fattigmann, Krumkaka, Meatballs, Rommegrot, Rosettes, Fruit Soup, Limpa Bread, Rullepolse & more! *Cash and Checks Only*

VOLUNTEER:

There are many great opportunities to volunteer with the Scandinavian Food Fest! From months of cooking and baking preparation to volunteering at the event, to setting the Bethel Highlands Campus Sanctuary seating back to worship ready, there's something for everyone to sign-up to serve! Check out the opportunities below:

  • Scandinavian Specialties Preparation Volunteers (no sign-up needed)
    • Rullepolse: October 14-16 | 9am | Bethel Downtown
  • Food Fest Set Up Volunteers
    • Friday, October 18 | 10am-5pm | Bethel Highlands
  • Bake Sale Baker Volunteers (no sign-up needed)
    • Donate handmade goods to the bake sale! Please bring goods to the Bethel Highlands Campus 10am-6pm at either entrance on Friday, October 18 or Saturday, October 19 8am-9:30am to the preschool entrance (or bring to Bethel Downtown Thursday, October 17th during office hours)
    • Yeast breads wanted!!
  • Limpa bread makers needed (no sign-up needed)
    • Bring loaves to Bethel Downtown up to a week before during office hours, Bring to Highlands Campus Friday 10am-6pm at either entrance or Saturday 8am-9:30am to the preschool entrance
  • Food Fest Event Volunteers
    • There are many day of event volunteers needed. CLICK HERE to view the open volunteer slots and sign-up!
  • Food Fest Clean Up
    • Volunteers are needed to help take tables down, and put chairs back into the sanctuary for Sunday morning church. Saturday, October 19 from 4-7pm. CLICK HERE to sign-up!
