About Our Keynote Speaker: Annie Meehan is no stranger to storms; as a dynamic speaker, author, and entrepreneur, she’s weathered challenges in the boardroom and in business. Annie has been the keynote for over 400 organizations and authored nine books.  Annie credits the storms for the unshakeable optimism, drive, and resiliency that she employs as a speaker. Annie teaches how the storms of life can lead to the biggest breakthroughs, renewed innovation and vision. Author of over nine books and counting, Annie’s keynotes and professional workshops are not only inspiring, but practical. Every person in the room leaves with a new vision and concrete steps to grow into their potential.  Annie has served corporations, associations, and non-profit organizations, providing actionable strategies to navigate change, build relationships, and eliminate long-held excuses that keep people from attaining their goals.

Annie is originally from the Midwest and currently makes her home in Fort Myers Beach, FL, with her husband and two dogs. The proud mother of three grown children, Annie believes the storms that accompany parenting come with a lot of rainbows.

About our Musician: Carol Zimmerman (Z) loves to entertain, tell stories and connect with her audience. Carol covers songs from as early as the 1920’s all the way to current pop chart hits. Her voice is smooth, often described as velvety, but she can belt out Bonnie Raitt and Janis Joplin when the venue calls for it. She plays guitar, keys, percussion, and a number of other song enhancing instruments...always surprising her listeners. Carol is also known for her songwriting; contributing in the past to movie scores, jingles, church and school theme songs, holiday events and customized weddings.

Carol Zs got a big heart for people believing that music brings people together, helps to heal and massage hurting hearts, and pulls on the strings of memories from childhood and romances. Her strong faith is never imposing, but leads her to never stop loving people in the best way she can....by sharing her heart through song and stories.

Carol spends her winter months entertaining snowbirds in the southeast states (Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, etc.) and summers gigging at resorts, restaurants and wineries in the Minneapolis and North-Central Wisconsin area.
