For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

For over 35 years I had the opportunity to work with young people at the Middle and High School levels.  Each day I witnessed the unconditional love that parents demonstrated toward their children.  No problem was impossible to solve and I never observed a parent that stopped caring.

As mere mortals we have been blessed with young people.  In many ways this gives us insight as to how much God cared for His children and how He continues to care for each of us as we live life’s grand adventure.  He is truly the parent who unconditionally loves and never gives up on us.

Prayer:  During this Lenten season may we revisit and appreciate the gift God has given us through His son, Jesus. Amen.
