In November, the Call Committee extended an offer to a candidate. Despite all efforts through weeks of conversations, the pastor ultimately withdrew from consideration. Although disappointing, we are assured that God has a plan for Bethel. 

The Call Committee will restart their work in search of a lead pastor who will support our congregation, embrace our community, while moving Bethel toward the strong future God has in store for us. A new timeline will be forthcoming in concert with our synod, and we apologize that this process has taken longer than expected.
