Since our October update, we have been preparing for a second round of
interviews with selected pastors that we believe have the experience and the skills defined by the effort of our Transition Committee, and the work within our congregation. We require a leader who is adept at managing an organization. Also, someone who is proven at empowering staff and laypeople to serve and to grow our membership and to connect with our community on a variety of fronts.

As Bethel continues to grow, we will continue to focus on our mission: “Connect. Grow. Serve.”

The direction of Bethel will be led by our next Lead Pastor in partnership with our congregation and church council. It goes without saying, the selection of our next leader will be a critical component to how Bethel will look in the future. Second interviews will be in person at Bethel and will be starting shortly. We anticipate long meetings which will allow us the time needed to better
understand our candidates’ motivations and experiences.
